Flammulina Veluptipes

Fragile and flower-like, Enoki grow in small clusters with long slender stems and tiny caps. Their mild, light flavor and slightly crunchy texture make them perfect for use raw in salads and sandwiches and as a garnish.


Look for mushrooms with a fresh, smooth appearance and creamy-yellow color. Use raw in salads and on sandwiches, or barely sautéed to maintain the crisp-crunchy texture.

Storage and Handling

Ostrom's Enoki mushrooms don't have to be used immediately. They'll stay fresh for up to 14 days if you keep them refrigerated. Store enokis in their shrink-wrap package in the refrigerator.

Don't forget! You do not have to wash or soak enoki mushrooms. To use: trim roots at cluster base and separate stems. Cut off the bottom 1/3 of the stem before using.
