Tukwila, WA – The Seattle Sounders Women announced today a partnership with Ostrom Mushroom Farms in Olympia, Washington. The family owned farm will serve as a presenting sponsor for the Sounders Women in 2013. Ostrom's presence will be visible on Sounders Women social media, video, radio, special events, and stadium branding.

The Ostrom's Mushrooms partnership is highlighted by official naming rights for the bleacher section of the Starfire Sports Stadium. The south bleachers are now known as the Ostrom's 'Shroom Zone, and will be branded-so online and in the stadium. The Ostrom's 'Shroom Zone is uncovered and bathed in sunlight during afternoon matches, since mushrooms grown at Ostrom's Farms are enhanced by Vitamin D, a key benefit of sunlight, the motto for the 'Shroom Zone is: "Fans enhanced by Vitamin D."
