BBQ Crimini Mushrooms with Garlic Sauce

Garlic Sauce

5 heads garlic - roasted
2 Tablespoons balsmic vineager
1/3 cup light sour cream
1 Tablespoon fresh basil - chopped
1 teaspoon fresh oregeno - chopped
salt and pepper - to taste

36 medium crimini mushrooms
1 Tablespoon shallots - chopped
2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
salt and pepper - to taste

To make the garlic sauce, roast the garlic and add to a food processor with the vinegar, sour cream, basil & oregeno. Process mixture until smooth & season with salt & pepper.

Place the mushrooms in a large shallow bowl and marinate for 30 minutes in the vinegar, oil, shallots and salt & pepper. Place the mushrooms on skewers and BBQ for 3-4 minutes per side. Serve with garlic sauce.
